This tiny brake van was built for use on the Metropolitan Railway and based at Acton. It is ideal for minimum space layouts so, when I found that Connoisseur Models produced an etched brass kit, I had to have one. It goes together quite nicely but I didn't like the sprung whitemetal buffers (they were overscale anyway) so replaced them with Peco/Webster.
